Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank Mission/Action Statement

To Address Hunger By Providing Food To Emergency Food Assistance Programs And Support Other NonProfit Agencies And Their Programs That Have A Positive Affect On The Lives Of Children And Adults In Klamath And Lake Counties.

  • ✓ Distributed a grand total of 2.5MILLION pounds of food
  • ✓ Distributed 700,000 pounds of produce
  • ✓ Provided food to assist in the preparation of 300,000 meals
  • ✓ Provided food boxes to 9,500 households in Klamath and Lake Counties
  • ✓ Provided food to assist in the preparation of 3,000 summer meals for children from lowincome families
  • ✓ Provided 135 Thanksgiving dinners
  • ✓ Accumulated 30,000 volunteer hours thanks to nearly 1,250 fantastic volunteers
  • ✓ Collected more than 1 MILLION pounds of food through local community food drives, individuals, farmers, ranchers, local grocery stores and purchased food with donations from the community.

We assist about 100 other non-profit programs with food and non-food product. With Food Bank support, these other vital entities have more disposable revenue to keep their programs funded.

  • ✓ Volunteer at the Food Bank or one of its pantry sites
  • ✓ Hold a foodand/or fundsdrive at work, school, or with your service club
